Support for Mental Health
The Health Education Authority have described mental health as:
‘the emotional and spiritual resilience which enables us to survive pain, disappointment and sadness. It is a fundamental belief in our own and others’ dignity and worth.’
It is thought 1 in 4 of us will experience an issue with our mental health at some point in our lives.
The following pages give some advice about what to do if you are worried about your own, or someone else’s mental health. There are also links to useful information about mental health conditions and local organisations that can help.
