Health and wellbeing @ your library

Library

If you want information to help with your physical and mental health and general wellbeing, then maybe your local library has the answers.

Drop by and see what’s on the shelves. There is a huge variety of books, CDs, DVDs and e-books you can borrow. Other services include:

  • Reading self-help books, pamphlets and information on support groups;
  • Having access to a free Internet service;
  • Joining up with others for family activities and reading groups.

Where is your local library?

Home Library Service

This popular community service is there for people who cannot get to their local library because of ill health, disability, caring commitments or mobility problems. You will be able to choose from a range of items including books - in large or ordinary print - talking books on tape or CD, music on tape or CD, videos and DVDs.
