Incontinence

If you are having problems with incontinence we recommend that you seek medical help but there are products and services available that can help you to cope.

Once you know the type of incontinence you have, you can start treatment to control the symptoms. Medical help, information and advice is available from your GP and from the NHS Continence Advisory Service.

You will find a number of useful products available such as waterproof mattresses, incontinence pads and male and female urine bottles. These are available to purchase in local care shops but if you are diagnosed with incontinence you may be able to get them free.
