Limited is a 'not for profit' community savings and loans
cooperative, which is owned and controlled by its members. There

Managing your Money Project
This scheme, operated by Age UK Stockport, provides
financial advice and helps older people avoid financial
difficulties through the use of appropriate services and products.
It is specifically aimed at older people who
have difficulties managing money, whether it is problems
opening a bank account, debt advice, budgeting or claiming
benefits. In addition to information and advice, practical support
with filling in forms, writing cheques and applying for bank
accounts or debit/credit cards. Staff also liaise with other
organisations and will make home visits to people who are unable to
get out and about. The ultimate aim of the project is to enable
people to make the most of their money and importantly, gain
control of their finances. Age UK also offer a
whole range of products and services tailor-made for the over
50s.
