Acorn

Acorn is a specialist treatment centre for people who are dependant on drugs or alcohol and who want to become, and remain, drug and alcohol-free.

Treatment
It provides structured group work programmes and one-to-one counselling

RAMP
The Reduction and Motivational Programme (RAMP), is an introduction to understanding addiction and dependency and encourages people to stop misusing drugs and alcohol.

Primary Treatment
Once substance misuse-free or ready to become abstinent, clients can start the primary treatment programme. This is an eight week intensive day programme of counselling and group work based on the principle of 12 steps.

Secondary Treatment
The second stage of treatment includes group work and is aimed at addressing obstacles that can be faced when returning to mainstream society. An aftercare programme is also available to provide support in preventing any relapse.
