Volunteering

Becoming a volunteer can be personally rewarding and help you to 'give something back' to your community.

As a volunteer you will be giving your time to help others but you will also increase your own confidence and get a sense of satisfaction and achievement. It's a great way to make new friends, try something new and gain new skills, maybe even increase your future job prospects. There are many ways to volunteer depending on how much time you can spare. Full-time, part-time and evening volunteering are offered by various organisations.

If you want to find out more either contact the local organisation or group that you are interested in volunteering with to see what is available or get in touch with one of the organisations listed below to find a volunteering opportunity that suits you.
