Information in other formats

Are you Deaf, blind or have problems with your sight or hearing? Do you need information in another language?

We can provide information about our adult social care services in a range of different formats including large print, Braille or audio, or in an alternative langauge. Please contact the Information & Knowledge Management Office for more information about how you can get these.

If you are deaf and/or have some level of hearing loss and British Sign language (BSL) is your chosen method of communication then follow the link below to visit the Stockport Council website where you will find a number of BSL videos on some of the services provided. We can also arrange a BSL interpreter if needed.

If English is not your first language

If  you need an interpreter to speak to someone from Stockport Council, NHS Stockport, Stockport Homes or a local voluntary organisation then this can be provided free of charge. You can ask the organisation to arrange this for you or you can contact Stockport Interpreting Unit direct. Interpreters are currently available for the languages listed below.
