Specialist support for people who have a sight or hearing loss

In addition to the generic social care services, there is a range of support available for people who are deaf, blind or have a sight or hearing loss.

If you have poor sight or are blind and are having difficulties with everyday living tasks then we may be able to provide a number of services to help you.

Help is available for you and your family, friends or carers if you are Deaf/blind or blind/deaf, and are a British Sign Language user.

Whatever problems you are having with day to day living, there is a wide range of helpful equipment available that can help you to stay living independently in your own home.

If you have problems with your sight or hearing we can provide information about our adult social care services in a range of alternative formats including large print, Braille, BSL, audio tape or CD.
